Reel Weddings in Paradise has been an established wedding film business in Crested Butte, Colorado since 2007.   Sisters Laura and Heidi are two independent filmmakers who decided to make a wedding film as a gift for a friend.*  One wedding film led to another and Reel Weddings in Paradise was created.  Our mission is to provide our clients with a vivid memory of their big day that will last a lifetime through the reel quality of a moving picture.

We devote the entire wedding day to capturing the moments you want on film, based on the package you create.  We are also available to film pre-wedding preparations and events during the days leading up to your wedding. During the editing process we continue to creatively customize your film by adding music, titles, special effects, and a DVD Menu, producing a professionally finished film.  

Uncle Buck may think he's George Lucas, but don't let him film your wedding!  Our wedding films go far beyond a single camera filming theceremony.  We always use a minimum of two professional digital cameras in order to take shots from multiple angles. Our cinematographers are mobile and use zoom lenses so they can shoot both close-ups and long-shots from several points of view.  We also arrive at the ceremony early and stay afterward so we can record views of the wedding site and capture all your guests on film.
